The following excursions are being provided by TWS (Tunisia Welcome Service).  They will provide an experienced English speaking Tunisian guide with each one.

Sunday 9th November - Arrival at Monastir with transfer to the hotel.  For Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester arrivals there will be an afternoon orientation visit to Hammamet.

Monday 10th November - Carthage and Sidi Bou Said.
In Carthage stopping at Byrsa Hill, the Punic port.  Tophet and Thermes d'Antonin.  Explore Sidi Bou Said (reputedly Tunisia's prettiest village).

Tuesday 11th November - Monastir and Sousse.
In Monastir visit to Mausoleum of Habib Bourguiba and Musee des Arts et Traditions.  In Sousse visit to Grande Mosque, Kasbah Sousse Museum and the Medina.

Wednesday 12th November - Roman Remains.
Visit to Thugga, Bulla Regia and Thuburbo Majus.

Thursday 13th November - Cap Bou.
Visit to Nabeul, Kelibia (fort), Kerkouane (Punic town), El Haouaria (Grottes Romaines), with a wine tasting in Grombalia.

Friday 14th November - Bardo Museum and cultural visit in Tunis.
Visit to the Musee du Bardo.  In Tunis visit Medina, Souks and Jemaa/Mosque Ez Zitouna.

Saturday 15th November - A day relaxing with typical Berber and Tunisian experiences.  Zaghouan (Roman aqueduct and Temples des Eaux), Bedouin meal under canvas including donkey ride followed by a Turkish Bath/Hammam in the Medina of Jasmine Hammamet.

Sunday 16th November - Leave after breakfast.  Visit El Jem - the Roman ampitheatre, Sfax - Medina and Musee Regional des Art et Traditions Gabes - Palmeraie.  Ferry to Jerba.  Overnight at 4* Palm Azur Hotel.

Monday 17th November - Morning Island tour of Jerba.  After lunch drive to Tataouine.  Overnight at 3* Dakyanus Hotel.

Tuesday 18th Nobember - Exploring the ksour (fortified villages) area in 4x4's.  Visit Ksar Ouled Soltane, Douiret, Chenini, Matmata with its troglodyte dwellings, camel ride at sunset.  Overnight at 4* El Mouradi Hotel.

Wednesday 19th November - 4x4 Desert Safari.
Leave Douze to see the sun rise on salt lake.  Visit Chebike, Tamerza, Mides, Ong Djemel and Mos Espa before arriving at Tozeur.  Overnight at 5* Dar Cherait Hotel.

Thursday 20th November - Morning in Nefta to visit La Corbeille (Oasr El-Ain), El-Bayadha, Ouled Ech Cherif (old town).  Afternoon in Tozeur to visit Palmeraie, Dar Cheraiet Museum.  Belveder Rocks at sunset.  Overnight at 5* Dar Cherait Hotel.

Friday 21st November - Leave Tozeur for Metlaoui for ride on Red Lizard train through the Selja Gorge.  Drive to Gafsa - visit the Roman pools. Overnight at 5* Gafsa Palace Hotel.

Saturday 22nd November - Return to Hammamet.
Via Sbeitla - Roman ruins and Kairouan - pools, mausoleum, view mosque - carpet factory.  Overnight at 4* Sol Azur Beach Hotel.

Sunday 23rd November - Depart Hammamet to Monastir Airport for your return flight to the UK.
