ALAN DAVIES WINTER WAYFARERS HOLIDAY TENERIFE 2009 - PLAYA LA ARENA HOTEL

Peter and I just want to say a big "thank you" to you for pulling out all the stops to get us to Tenerife. We had a wonderful time. All your arrangements worked beautifully -

The hotel was the best yet (and we have had some good ones!) And, of course, Alan had planned some amazing excursions, but we didn't participate, because we felt it was too much too soon after Peter's op. But he was dancing with the best of them and joining in the hotel activities. And the singing workshops and Song and Dance evening were very well received.

Not surprisingly, we were reluctant to leave, but we have come back with our batteries fully recharged - which is just as well, given the 30 degree temperature difference.

So, thank you once again, and we can't wait for you and Alan to come up with our next Wayfarers package.

MARIAN ANDERSON RHODES DANCE HOLIDAY 2009 - RODIAN AMATHUS HOTEL

Just to say we greatly enjoyed the recent Marian Anderson dance holiday in Rhodes -- We think the Amathus Hotel turned out to be a much better choice than the one in Kalathos out in the middle of nowhere. A mile or so from Rhodes city, with a bus stop at the foot of the drive, and a service better than in many places in GB -- running from early morning till late night, and quarter-hourly during the day. Shops within easy reach too. What more could one ask!

A few years ago I booked to go on a line dance holiday with my husband, through SEMPLE TRAVEL.

On arriving at the hotel without a single hitch I met a lady called Trish she was our rep and organiser.

So impressed by her friendliness and approachability, her knowledge of booking large groups on holidays and caring for every ones needs and welfare gave me the confidence to ask TRISH if she would help in organising a holiday for my dance club

No sooner had I given Trish the resort we would like to go to, she had found us a hotel, flights, Transfers, Dance Itinerary and created a Line dance holiday package at a very competitive rate.

Knowing we were in capable hands 50 of my dancers booked. Trish compiled the booking forms and leaflets, took all the deposits, balances, sent out tickets and letters and handled the whole booking.

The trip went like clockwork, the hotel and facilities were fantastic. A great holiday for all.

I cannot thank TRISH enough for all she has done, I know it’s her job but she always goes out of her way to add that personal genuine touch.

Our next holiday is in the pipeline and we would not go anywhere else, why change a good thing?

I have been very privileged for the past 12 years to have John Semple Travel arrange all the Group holidays I have done. Without their expert help and advice I am sure they wouldn’t have been such a success.

We have been to some wonderful places, Majorca, Portugal, Spain, Cyprus, QE2 and now Tenerife.

I have nothing but the highest esteem for John Semple Travel and most importantly Trish who finds the hotels (which have all been top class), arranges all the travel and accommodation and keeps in touch on a regular basis with everyone who goes on these holidays, nothing is a bother for her and she handles everything to do with the holidays very, very professionally. In fact on most of the holidays she is at the hotel when we arrive to make sure everything is just tip top, and that makes my job as hostess so much easier, as she deals with the hotel direct, on nearly every holiday she has already arranged all the sound equipment etc., so that saves on taking amplifiers etc. with us on the aircraft truly wonderful.

We have been to Cyprus on numerous occasions, and I must say the Avanti Hotel and the owners and staff are just absolutely fabulous, yeh I guess that is probably my favourite destination. Hopefully we will be going back there real soon.

On one of the trips to Cyprus it was our 10^th anniversary of doing the holidays, (this was a 2 week trip) and John Semple Travel arranged for the hire of a boat for the day and we danced on the upper deck all afternoon, had lunch etc., and swam off the boat, they had a special banner made for the front of the boat, all in all really wonderful and a very personal touch.

I think so much of the Semple Family that we arrange all of our own holiday bookings etc. through them and they look after everything, truly a great company to have been associated with over the years.
